I am a Senior Product Designer and Researcher with special interest in VR. For the past 6 years, I have been working in R&D in various companies and studios, and am currently employed at a design and development agency in Brixton, London.

I have two Masters degrees in Communication Design and Linguistics (concentration in Mandarin Chinese and Cognitive Linguistics).

Following up my passion in VR, I have partnered up with a few VR studios. My latest projects include user research for Masterpiece Motion (a 3D rigging tool in VR), Tvori (an animation in VR tool), research and UX for VR FPS (a mobile VR game), and UX and UI work for PianoBoard (an AR application to help users learn piano).

Over the past 10 years, I initiated and participated in a number of educational events on user research and design, including show & tells, classes, meet-ups and workshops. I have also previously designed and ran a vector graphics course online, and in a well known photo-studio in Kiev, Ukraine.

I also write a blog on usability and UX design in VR, feel free to take a look: https://medium.com/@anastasiiaku.

My CV is available to take a look at here.
